We had a great hunt and wonderful time visiting Cape Town. We enjoyed Cedric, who showed us the sights and took us to the local restaurants. We also had a tour of the wineries on the last day. We were scheduled to shark dive, and were met by Cedric at the docks; ready to dive with us. Unfortunately the trip was canceled due to bad weather. Cedric once again saved the day. We went to some of the local eateries and enjoyed the prawns and beer. We were greeted at the airports by representatives that guided us to the next flights, and were met once again at Port Elizabeth taken to our hotel, and then transported to the hunting camp the next day. Cape to Cairo took care of the logistics, so we could enjoy the trip without the hassle. We are planning a fifth trip to South Africa and will definitely use Cape to Cairo Safaris!

I would highly recommend Cape to Cairo Safaris. From our initial conversation in planning the trip through goodbyes at the Windhoek airport, we were always well informed and knew exactly what to expect. Cedric and Karin were the best hosts anyone could ask for and catered to our every need. They frequently asked us if everything was Ok and if they could help us in any way. We never expected them to escort us through the entire two week period but they did and it was great knowing they were there.
We had no problems with our accommodations; the PH’s and lodges Cape to Cairo reserved for us were perfect. We never would have known the ranch’s existed without Cape to Cairo’s inside knowledge of the area. Had we booked directly with one ranch we would not have been able to see more than one area of the country and experience the different hunting styles that we did. Going to different areas of the country allowed us to see Namibia as we traveled by truck from one area to another. The lodges were more than comfortable and the food was amazing. Our hosts and PH’s were wonderful with abundant knowledge of the animals and local area. Their staffs were attentive and there when you needed them and out of site when you didn’t. We were able to see two different areas of the country with completely different hunting styles. I enjoyed the red sands of the Kalahari and bush felt area to the north. The PH’s and the Nieuwoudts understood the animals we were interested in and tailored the camps to accommodate our needs. We had plenty of shot opportunities and never felt pressured into taking any animal or shots we were not comfortable with. The PH’s hunted the way you wanted to hunt. If you wanted an easy hunt they accommodated you. If you wanted to hunt and stalk an animal on your hands and knees through thorns and brush, they did it. Close shots that you had to work for or longer shots to secure the trophy you wanted, the choice was yours.
We were afforded time to visit areas of local interest and had input as to planning our schedule. We all had a trip to remember and when we go again it would definitely be through Cape to Cairo Safaris without a doubt. I can’t imagine that anyone could have planned a better trip for us or been a better host than Karin and Cedric. Cape to Cairo tailored our trip to us, not to the concessions they had available. Nothing was left to chance and everything was perfect.
